Henry is a gorgeous, long haired kitty who is 1 1/2 years old. He loves to sit on your lap and give hugs. Henry also loves toys that have feathers. He has been exposed to FIP. FIP is a poorly understood disease of cats, it is caused by a type of corona virus that is contracted as a kitten but may not show symptoms for years. FIP can show up with many different symptoms, most commonly lethargy, enlarged abdomen, weight loss, and diarrhea. It is not a curable disease and eventually leads to death. Importantly NOT ALL cats exposed to FIP contract the disease. Because he been exposed, we are waiving his adoption fee. He is here with 5 other cats. They are not in the adoption area, please ask to see them.
