I'm at the HEAD of the CLASS! Roxy is a playful 10 1/2 month old white and red Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier mix who was too much to handle for her prior owners - remember she is just a pup so she's energetic...and growing (currently at 45 lbs). She has also been here for over two months and is ready to find her new family! She's a very active and friendly girl who was raised with older children and another dog. She would fit best with older children because she does tend to play rough. If you won't play ball with her, she will happily play ball by herself - so cute! She loves to fetch just about any toy; she's not picky. She knows how to sit and shake...and is very focused on her handler. She's SO GOOD at her sit that she will follow you wherever you go, sitting when you stop - just adorable. This girl is whip smart and ready to learn. You can see how eager she is to please her people. In just a short time with clicker training, she was picking up stay and down. She would do great in an obedience class - she will soak up the mental stimulation. Plus, she's just a puppy so this would be a great way to teach her manners and bond with your new best friend. She's mostly crated trained so she will need a little bit of work on housebreaking. She's a friendly and outgoing girl who needs a home that can give her lots of exercise. She went out with our RACE Team and they said she is 'just a sweetie', a 'very easy running partner' and she 'loves affection'. Roxy is waiting...with her pile of balls ready.
