Gionni is here because her family lost their home. She's a stocky, short legged, 60lb sweet girl who can be a bit shy but independent. Once you get down to her level, she's a cuddle bug who loves to give kisses and wrestle. She's a regular with our RACE team and while she wants to run in the beginning, she sometimes prefers to stop and smell the flowers. Sometimes she feels like running, sometimes she feels like walking. They call her their 'miler' cause she's good for running one mile, then she's done. She's all heart and loves being outside. She attended Canines and Cocktails at the Loews Hotel...all the dogs, sounds, and people can be overwhelming but she was a champ and had a great time. She also went to the 4th of July parade. She was runner up for July volunteer favorite! Don't miss out on Gionni! She does exhibit some owner resource guarding but we expect that will change as she gets more comfortable in her new home and becomes a more confident dog. Counter conditioning will also help her. She's going to make someone a wonderful companion.
